EA Architectural Design Studio, founded in 2010, provides project based design and construction follow-up services worldwide in Yacht Design, Interior and Furniture Design. Our sister company e-LAB is a nomadic store fusing elements of design and curated collections of furniture, lighting, rugs, fabrics and trims, wall coverings, decorative home accessories and objets d'art.
Founder Ekin Altinakar, following her studies in Yacht Design in Università di Roma La Sapienza, Faculty of Architecture L. Quaroni, began her career in B Design, a prominent Istanbul based architecture firm. She has been entrusted with design works in various residential and commercial projects including DKNY flagship store in Istanbul, Fiba Group's Mall-Dova shopping mall in Chisinau. She then focused her creativity and design flair for yacht design in Troy Marine, projecting and following up the construction of a 42 meters trawler motor yacht.
In 2013, driven by a fascination for timeless decorative objects that celebrate craftsmanship and design over transient trends, Altinakar has co-founded the London based brand Collection Eclectik, filled with a curated selection of uniquely exquisite furniture, art, design, ceramics, rare collectibles and other unique curiosities.
